We use the power of education to grow democracy between elections.

Democracy is a skill, a habit, a practice. It is possible for all of us to be better equipped & feel more confident about participating in democratic opportunities.

Democracy Matters is a non partisan social enterprise. We provide service to three groups: early voters, elected representatives, & the teachers who inspire future voters & their representatives. We share insights between these groups because dialogue + strong relationships strengthens our democracy.

We work across Australia & across the political spectrum to deepen our collective understanding of democracy, how it holds us steady & ways we can modernise democracy so it remains fit for purpose.

We believe in paying it forward. 10% of DM income is donated to organisations supporting youth education.
