At Democracy Matters, we grow democracy between elections, in the spaces where people live, lead and learn. We work with new voters finding their voice, elected representatives finding their feet, and the teachers who light the way.
We believe democracy is something we do, not once every few years but every day, in classrooms, council chambers and conversations. Through education, dialogue and shared insight, we help people build the skills, confidence and relationships that make democracy stronger.
We are a non-partisan social enterprise working across the country and across the political spectrum. Our work is grounded in care, driven by values and focused on building a system that holds all of us. And because we believe in paying it forward, ten percent of our income supports youth education.
